Universal Doorway Poem by derrick foster

Universal Doorway

I am a doorway to the universe
On a train bound for nowhere

I am a doorway to the universe
Walking aimlessly in any direction

I am a doorway to the universe
In front of an empty store shelf

I am a doorway to the universe
On a pier in my own personal space

I am a doorway to the universe
Dancing in a tight corner

I am a doorway to the universe
Standing in a remote location

I am a doorway to the universe
Anywhere I stand

I become a walkway to any universe
For people want to walk through me

I am made into a doorway to the universe
As if I'm not standing there
