Unique Artistry Poem by Laquory Jones

Tell me would you ever go through the pouring rain
While seeing pictures without the frames & while
Blue skies beginning to gray you close your eyes
At the world suddenly more pictures start to emerge
You start to feel submerged underneath it all
You're hit with a free-fall problems growing knee-tall
Just when you thought you've been through it all
Life begin pushing you up and down like a seesaw
Tell me have you all felt like that feeling as if you're
Being attacked slipping through the cracks
Now you're self-reflecting back
To where everything first began to pour
Now feeling that you can't take any more
I have been there many times before
Let me guide you back to shore

I'm searching through the pouring rain for anything
That I can find that can help me out through life
When will the rain subside?
My visions are forever blue skies
Can people take me high?
Together we can spread our wings and fly
A woman once told me that
'Richie you need to see clearer skies'
Oh believe me that I'll try
I watched her feet begin to flee
I thought she would never leave but instead
Help me see what I'm missing
But she did no such thing I was left to think
That it's people like her that helps
Me plant these seeds that I'm embedding in my
Poetry and that's what I call 'Unique Artistry'
There's still many important things still
Left unseen I couldn't foresee the gem that
I had just received but sadly she's
Now a figment of my imagination
With a conversation
That I keep in remembrance

Richie you need us and you need me
To bring the umbrellas perhaps I'll bring three
As we begin life's journey into the next
Century no one's leaving in gurneys
That I'm reassuring instead I'm ushering
As our wheels continues their turning
Now that Souls are in reach we're reaching our
Peaks Life's spit-fire becoming our speech
It's in tongues that we speak
Do you not feel that burning feeling?
(ooh do you feel that heat)
Seeping through life's desires and energy
Do you remember what you use to tell me?
That we'll live forever and for all eternity
I came to life to help spread the peace
Carrying the pain of a million at least
'Though today your life may seem bleak
There's something about you that
I've found unique I'm sure that you'll find
It through self-discovery'
