Uni-Corn Poem by Robert Sheridan

Uni-Corn

Geometrical formations, primarily corn
Flattened crops by alien stalkers
Very paranormal, without bells or whistles
'You mowing-devils you! '

Effects produced rather curious
Done with a high level of precision
Perfect symmetry, done from above
And not by the eye of an Englishman.

The stalkers seem to work on a continuum
Corn fields and farmers caught unaware
The perpetrators seem to have no malicious intent
But rather are sending us a message - Beware!

They must view us and the corn as victims
In other words, seriously flawed
Earthlings and crops support delusions
We always seem to slander and deform.

The stalkers no doubt are using manipulative behavior
coercing us to somehow intervene
Paranormal enthusiasts are calling it a 'Mental assault'
'Intervening in our tranquility - it’s prohibited under petty law! '

'If we let it continue, there may be possible physical harm
Not only to us, but more and more to our corn
We, as para-un-normals must come-up with a solution
Hey, we know, we’ll pave our crops and put-up a parking lot! '
