Unfaithful (Ii) Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

Unfaithful (Ii)

Story of romance, Searching for the chance
But I keep avoiding it, This aching in my heart
Knowing that it's wrong, That you're in my company
Just It seems I can't depart
You're more than a friend, And this is more than that
The reason for my uneasiness
But after about a year or two I than come around
Because I've nearly drowned,
And to you I just can't bring happiness
And I know that you know that you're unfaithful
And I'm scared inside,
To know that you may not be happy with your current
I can see through your denial, I hear it in your voice
and the expression on your face
As I contemplate the outcome, Preparing for a tragedy
A hug known familair to me, As you hold me 'round the waiste
And you assuringly, Give away your true nature
I ignore the signs
Just following the nature of our desires
Is a truth we have to end instead we're blinded
And it's a Lie we don't have to live
Because we both know, Where this thing will go
And Besides I think it already shows
