Undiscovered Lie Poem by nicola burkett

Undiscovered Lie

Rating: 5.0

i can't live another day without you
laying here within my arms
to hear you heart beating
awash with tender loving charms

but i can see that your hiding
and you wont tell me why
and i know the thoughts that your feeling
is just another undiscovered lie

the silence i hear is deafening
and the light it blinds my eyes
the truth that you're speaking
is a cleaver disguised goodbye

your fans they are waiting
don't look back as you run
I'll just lie here bleeding
from the bullet of your gun
