Underestimated Poem by Remya Sasindran

Underestimated

Eyes… a deep black
Seeing but blind.
Watching for returned stares
And appreciating glances
And hopeful sighs
Knowing
Smiling
Pearl white teeth
Razor sharp
Biting, tearing, ripping
Flesh from weak bones
Blood splattering
Oozing from hungry lips
Devouring compliments
Licking up adoring stares
Chewing
Swallowing

Insatiable.
