Under the Flag of Civilization
There march the waters,
The seasons, the phenomena
And the motions, the dawns,
The dusks, sunsets and nights
And kindly stars, moon and their lights
And trees, and owls, nightingales,
And malice and Love joined
Hand in hand walking:
All,
All as in one direction marching
Hand in hand
Under the same Flag
The Flag of Civilization.
