Undead Poem by Christopher Montalvo

Undead

Living life is best for the alive,
So let's keep living it until the day we die.
Let's ride these lies to the end of the line,
Where betrayal dictates the way our lives collide,
Where death and revenge is injected to our bloodline,
Leave us begging for someone to throw us a lifeline.
Our thoughts not quite defined as we strive for forgiveness,
but forget their heinous crimes.
Now, time passes as our minds clash for a life,
A reality where we're not blind, but aware of the sunshine.
