Unchaining Ties Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Unchaining Ties

Unchaining ties that have been binding through the
many years of this life, ending their domineering
abuse that has plagued me through a timid shyness.

Always forging ahead without having to think any-
thing further about it, lessening the experiences,
allowing time to take away the present situation.

Emotions rolling over and away from intellect,
sensing a new wave of energy coming forth from
the beauty of thoughts being rescued from depths
of a turbulent ocean.

Never allowing life to be taken into unknown
mysteries where nothing can ever be contained in
answers of life that have so far been found to
have an essence in the world.
