Uncertain And Unsure Poem by Matthew Edan Oliver Palma

Uncertain And Unsure

Still an offer of a love pure
Delicate and still naive
Yours is the love that saves

Nobody cares as your tears fall down
Nobody cared if you've worn a frown
Everyone's out looking for a clown
Somewhere in his little corner downtown

Dreamy eyes and shady
Perfect to be my baby
Mystic and so heavenly
I shall embrace you fully

Somebody now cares for your tears
Better get up and leave all your fears
Nothing but sweet words for your ears
Need not wait for clouds to clear

Now certain and so sure
Receive my offer of love pure
In this world we're still naive
But ours is the love that saves
