Unburdened Rain Poem by Pradip Chattopadhyay

Unburdened Rain

For long he has not cried
Pains so far suppressed
Burst forth in torrents from his breast
Hazing his eyes, melting his heart
He has endured it for too long.
The lumps he drove them in
Stopping just short of crying
At his own suffering…
The rains unburdened poured in
Flooding his sorrows, washing them
He let tears flow, each of it that came along
Bidding time to come back from the mournful song!
