Unaware Poem by Madhuri Sawant

Unaware

At night I had been glancing in my balcony,
How beautiful the moon was,
The entire dark sky lit with the gleam of mine,
How pity I didn’t get a chance to spot it in my on the go life,
Flawless white just covers the perfectly carved figure,
The dancing stars are its knight riders, trying to guard it,
The felon clouds are trying to hide moon out of nowhere,
Envious of its beauty,
The dancing stars disappearing in the thick sheet,
Nobody knows where to find this exquisite beauty,
But moon comes out of the crook of the ugly dense,
Immediately stars start entertaining the moon,
Plenty of options to choose as her lover,
Only did moon know anything about her lover.
