Umbrellas Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Umbrellas

Umbrellas

The outpour was so heavy,
We all pulled open our umbrellas.
Wow, how fast we did that.
But we loved the fresh aroma of the rain.

In life I also loved the high speed times,
When I had to run in that kind of rain.
I gained speed and learned it fast.
That rain was of gain.
