I resisted
Your attempt
When insisted
For action prompt

You were close friend
And had promised to stay till end
But of late, you were proving
Unreasonable and disproving

I could sense some problem
With ulterior motives then
You were forceful
But I made it unsuccessful

I did no show exit door
But you proved helpless and poor
Your reasoning was little selfish
The bond found tragic finish

You could wait for opportune time
Given some more time
For consideration and action
I could have not come out with hostile reaction
