Ujamaa Intellectuals Network Poem by DICKSON MSETI

Ujamaa Intellectuals Network

We will stop at nothing; we are here to stay,
We hold something, that will never go away,
Intellectuals are working, it starts from today,
UJAMAA is home, tomorrow from yesterday,

The legacy shall prosper, from fathers to their sons,
We will jump from the chopper, if that will be the only way to kiss the sun,
He opened the chapter; we will continue the patterns,
INTELLECTUALS shall rise to brightens the future,

I hear the sound of the NETWORK, in a single name that is I,
I feel the drums of hope bumping in every soul and runs in every vain,
I hear the shouting, I feel the legs standing crying for what they will stand for,
And when I ask what is that name, this is what I hear
UJAMAA INTELLECTUALS NETWORK

Intellectuals have cried to see the Promised Land,
But they forgot they slept beyond the weekend,
Now they are awake to utilize their minds,
The network shall prosper I have seen the commitment.

I stand for hope to strengthen my life,
I stand for love and the family to belong,
I believe in love of one and integrity,
Ujamaa Intellectuals will give me all.
