U tjeskobnoj noći jednog bdijenja

Pred osmjehom od magle zadrhtala sam nijemo
kao dah od svjetla
i njegov sivi plašt

vidjeh još jedan svežanj limenih zvijzda
kako se pred crnilom vječnim koprca
svjetluca kao dah od svjetla
i njegov sivi plašt

vidjeh još jednu jesen
kako se pred praskozorjem u nebo sivo pretvara
prezrelo voće
kako se pred suton rumeni
i shvatih
vrijeme je da umre ovaj svijet
