Two Three Nine Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Two Three Nine

Rating: 5.0

Each time your in my arms,
The pound of your heart mimic's mine,
Is there a need to whisper to heaven anymore,
As each breath that sweeps through your lips is gift enough,
A reason to believe,
Your posture, the way you stare,
The very essence, the wind blows with such purpose,
It's more than a sensual caress, the feel of you in my arms,
An emotional bond occurs, your heart replaces mine,
Eyes close tightly, trying to hold on to the moment that's scared to slip away,
Bringing the tightest grasp, hands can give,
As Eve had purpose for coming into Adam's life,
I find that reason in you,
I yearn for more than a moment of your time,
Apple of my eye,
There's no such depth, when it comes to you,
Bursting through the windows of our eyes,
From the kiss of our hands,
To the resting of each other's heart on our lips,
The tender caress of longevity,
As an eternity in your arms cannot wait
