Two Souls Poem by Ronald Chapman

Two Souls

Rating: 5.0

A thousand years past since I touched you,
The impossibility of two Souls meeting in this place,
Returning from the past,

Looking at a princess painted on a museum wall,
Memories rushing in,

You! Standing here too,

To continue our lives,
Separated by time,

Hand in hand we dance,
What mystery is this?

My life is incredible,
Because of you.

How can I capture your heart?
After waiting so long,
Locked in love, as the tides of time carried our Souls.

Many possible destinies, fate scatters,
Like cherry blossoms in a spring breeze.
You and I finally falling to earth in this corner of time.

Spending our lives together,
Never separated by death,

Rings of diamonds and gold,
Making promises, that will last an eternity,
I'll love and cherish your Soul in this life and the next,

Loving you was destined to be.
