Two Lives Together Poem by Damian Cranney

Two Lives Together

A tender touch upon your face,
A gentle caress while in bed you lie,
An arm, around you, in loving embrace,
And she in Languorous repose gives out a sigh.

You have the day ahead to share,
The adventure is about to start anew,
She is my world of that I am aware,
I lay my soul quite bare to state that view.
.

You linger over breakfast; her gaze has you enthralled,
It is caught forever in the camera of your mind,
That moment lives within you to always be recalled,
And the years will polish it and make it more defined.

You reach the age when the life you've spent together,
Is longer than the time before you met,
You know you want to be with her forever,
And all the things you've shared you never will forget.
