Two Left Feet Poem by steve stirk

Two Left Feet

Alan Foot had two left feet
And neither one was right
And two left feet will never meet
As both of them would fight

Alan's feet would take the lead
But left him quite bereft
'I'm turning right' you'd hear him plead
But both his feet turned left

In later life poor Alan found
He hadn't traveled wide
He just kept going round and round
And to the left hand side

When Alan died, his gravestone said

'His life was full and busy......
Here lies Alan, now quite dead
He died of being dizzy

He made great strides, and all who saw
His resolution harden
Knew he'd never traveled more
than round and round his garden'
