Two Doors Now Gone Poem by Walter C. Edwards

Two Doors Now Gone

Drops of violets on my tongue,
two doors down and gone,
fire in the night still burns,
the snake charmers music plays,
days upon days,
molten gray with astral haze,
fire works in the California sun,
two doors now gone.
