Two Dark Cherubims Poem by Albrando Lucino

Two Dark Cherubims

So there i sit in the family room couch,
flanked by two dark cherubims; Kaiser and Maxine,
Affection within, catering to love, kindness and repose
Lay the two sleeping.

Dear kaiser sleeping on the floor, eyes closed, tail still.
Thinking of running about at a field, playing with animals
Dear Maxine sleeping on the couch, eyes closed, paw pointed outward

Good night my dear darlings. Sleep well. See you in the morning.
