Two Can Play This Game~ Poem by Theodora (Theo) Onken

Two Can Play This Game~

Rating: 5.0

He was mesmerized by her eyes
Gone in their green/gold hue
Ravaged by their come-hither twinkle
Completely lost when within her view;

Casting her spell upon him was deliberate
For she has these beguiling ways
Taking captive his heart and soul forever
He-totally lost in her lust filled gaze;

She has him right where she wants him this day
In her 'orange-blue-sun kissed' land
Where information is garnered daily from his words
Unspoken-but well written plan;

So here's to the magic of her eyes
They now reside up north in Mountain View
Where search engines & Wiley Coyote oft' exist
Where no one practices the Golden Rule;

Yes, she had him on her first glance
Back in the days of his: Red & Blue
Just a mess of a man-with a laced soda can
A man - about to pay all of his dues;
