Twinkle Twinkle Little Star Poem by Aditya Raj Verma

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

Rating: 5.0

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star,
Now I know, why you live so far,
Because the world below is always at war,
All living souls, battling to be at par.

Each and every life busy filling desire's jar,
With too much tension and everyday mar,
Drenched and wasted still no rest for an hour,
Gaining luxury for happiness, merely a scar.

Still in Dhar, a small village situated afar,
Away from techie ills and modern sour,
Lives a little girl near the fields of jowar,
Village call her the phantom of happiness,
And lifeline of Dhar.

One day destiny drew me to village Dhar,
Where I saw her smile, playing in drizzling shower,
Fascinated by the way she fills her desire's jar,
With true happiness each and every hour.

Roast her favourite sweet potato till it char,
Enjoy her snack below the blanket of star,
The smile she owns makes jealous the brightest star,
Happy in her little world with no restriction no bar,

Learn to be happy from this smiling star,
With her smile and gladness, I fill my jar,
And Twinkle Twinkle little Star,
You still live with me not afar.
