Twin Triplets. No.9. Sweet Memories, Sour Memories Poem by Valsa George

Twin Triplets. No.9. Sweet Memories, Sour Memories

Rating: 5.0

SWEET MEMORIES

Dazzling rainbows in a cloud ridden mind
The elusive spectrums of varying wavelengths
Often appearing after a sunny drizzle of happy episodes

SOUR MEMORIES

Fossilized cadavers
Unable to be cremated or buried
Refusing to disintegrate into oblivion

So very true. Great description of sweet and sour memories. Memories that were inscribed in the mind will always visit us reminding us the happy and sad moments of our lives. Like an old song played through the years. Beautifully crafted with superb imagery as always.

Sweet and sour both memories remain in mind and give different state of re-perception with the revival of time. This poem is very interestingly penned with two sequences.

True, Valsa George. We cannot find a place to cremate or burry our memories that have been fossilised. The short lived rainbows of happiness following unhappy moments will keep on sweetening our heart. Commendable....10

I read your twin triplet 'Sweet Memories' and 'Sour Memories'. This is really a beautiful poem on philosophical base where you have discriminated sweet memories and sour memories astutely and hauntingly. Dazzling rainbows, elusive spectrums, sunny drizzle are sweet memories where as fossilized cadavers unable to be cremated or buried refusing to disintegrate into oblivion are the sour memories. Wonderful imaginary poem amazingly shared.

Difference of sweet and sour memories, a philosophic approach, one of the best poems of Valsa George.
