Twin Triplets. No.11. Foolhardiness, Anticipation Poem by Valsa George

Twin Triplets. No.11. Foolhardiness, Anticipation

Rating: 4.9

FOOLHARDINESS

Pygmies rummaging the armoury
Of giants, contending for blazonry
That won’t fit in their repertory!

ANTICIPATION

A wait at a midnight street
With eyes poised to the East
To catch the first shafts of light

I like the second one best, it has anticipation, and is full of hope. Lovely poem.

“Pygmies rummaging the armoury Of giants, contending for blazonry That won’t fit in their repertory! “ ………….i don’t think I understand completely; I KNOW I don’t! “repertory”? are the pygmies putting on a play? a pygmy play, Pygmalion? you made me look up some words! “bla•zon•ry (blāˈzən-rē) ► • n. Heraldry The art of properly and accurately describing or representing armorial bearings. • n. Heraldry A coat of arms. • n. An ostentatious display.======================= “rep•er•to•ry (rĕpˈər-tôrˌē, -tōrˌē) ► • n. A repertoire. • n. A theater in which a resident company presents works from a specified repertoire, usually in alternation. • n. A repertory company.” ? ? ? ? at first reading of title I thought it would concern a maternity ward on a busy night. bri :)

The armoury of giants amaze mind with wonderful perception. A wait at a midnight street is amazing too as this wait is meant for catching light in East. Light brings hope and dignity in mind for trust and accessibility. Anticipation is definitely an interesting poem with twin triplets very brilliantly and excellently penned...10

Twin Triplets: Foolhardiness and Anticipation is a bit philosophical. I could not properly make out the first one. The second one is very expressive allows readers to dwell what is anticipation all about.....what a wait at a midnight street/With eyes poised to the East/To catch the first shafts of light....Loved reading the second part of your poem! Thanks for sharing dear madam...10

The sun always rises from the east, let us hope the best, mankind is waiting at a midnight street for the dawn that should now come with aurora of love. A great work.
