Twilight Hour Poem by Jesus Diaz Llorico

Twilight Hour

'This twilight hour
and surrounding streets
with its silent symmetry
it always reminds me
of my past
with the sudden
passing lights of cars
it dawned on me...
and made me think of you

just like the stars that never
stops to twinkle
the moon never minding at all
and through the dark clouds
I can only hear distinct sounds
of thunder
my mind drowned...
from you and the coming rain.'
