Twilight At The Seashore Poem by Noel Tupan

Twilight At The Seashore

Along the seashore I walk
To the waves and seashells I talk
Watching the sunset at the horizon
That gives color to the warm afternoon.

The warm sea breeze blows on my face
The sailboats catch my gaze
The fishermen hauling the net
At the seashore the wives wait.

From the distance a figure I see
A beauty revealed as I look closely
A pleasing view to look at
But disappeared in an instant.

I look around but see the twilight
I rest upon the sand and welcome the night
Watching the waves rushing to the shore
Shining like pearls that allure.

From the distance I see flickering lights
Like fireflies that appear on dark nights
Fleetingly enjoying the faculty of seeing
Hoping to embrace a beautiful morning.
