Twenty Thousands Good Poems Poem by Spandan Bhattacharyya

Reading twenty thousand good poems
can make one write a good poem
Reading twenty thousand good stories
can make one write a good story
Reading twenty thousand good essays
can make one write a good essay
And murdering twenty thousand good people
can make one a good murderer
How can you write a good poem! ?
you're yet to read one good book on poem
Read, read with your heads down, as much as you can
It is better to get mad by reading, than by not reading
Such and such poet, such and such writer has
read so much
That's why, today they are.................
