Twenty Plus Poem by Macwolls Kay

Twenty Plus

She's a beauty in her prime
A beauty on this day.
She closes her eyes and makes a wish
Twenty plus wishes and twenty plus smiles
but none as special as the one she makes.

She inhales and blows out hard
Twenty plus candles, twenty plus flames
to mark a special day in her life.

Many dreams and memories she will hold
Many friendships will come many friendships will go
but none to cherish as this, and non as dear as this.

It's a day she will cherish, a day of her own
Storms will hold back, the rains will shy
It's a day she will remember, a special day in her life.
