Tune Your Song Poem by Chris Leermakers

Tune Your Song

Peer in your place
see all the waste
learn to Inform
not to reform
and without haste
without our faults
we cannot see
what Is wrong
what is meant to be
but we're supposed to search
and find the best, a clear new idea
one day i might
as there is no fear
i'll go ahead
see the truth instead
and better yet
learn how to think
and then you'll find your head

Who's out there?
where's the freedom?
most everywhere
can you see it?
don't forget your light
my soul, I truly know
where's my road?
I'm sure to go
home soon
learn to find
that golden moon

Tune your song
your true mind
for we are immortal
some are hiding
but then escape
to brand new days
sometimes though
some cannot go
just in case
they are too slow
hymning along
dancing too quietly

Tune your song
and keep it partly
smooth, rough
and civilized
had enough?
but recognize
hey, look out
i'm on the way
onto where?
the brand new day.....
