we are nearing the end now darling,
I can see the line from here,
it is evident what will be,
but will it always be clear?

Apologies are too late for us,
our emotions left without a salute,
we lost what we thought was eternal,
I am sorry for us, I am sorry for you.

Just remember, time was not wasted,
it may not have lasted,
but it doesnt not mean it was not worth the while,
You may think it was not worth bending your heart,
but I believe, love, always, deserves a try.
