Truth Told Poem by Ima Ryma

Truth Told

I was at a job interview
For a job I really did want.
I felt quite nervous through and through,
But tried hard to act nonchalant.
My interviewer seemed to be
Someone who was not very bright.
The last question he asked of me,
'What's your greatest weakness that might'
'Make this job harder to perform? '
'I always tell the truth, ' I said
The interviewer did inform
This trait should put me in good stead.

And so the truth I had to share,
'What you think, I really don't care.'
