Truth That Hides Poem by Connor Whyte

Truth That Hides

Rating: 4.5

When your soul is pushed to its limits it gets tired and old, in time it will recover but with the motions and emotions it gets scarred constant movements and rattling in constant steps I take, thoughts bouncing around damaging my brain like a bullet entering without escaping hitting everything vital that I need, until the words pour out of my head and beads of sweat pour from my skin, trying to swim like a fish without fins floating to the top to be scooped by a fisher mans arms,
Being carried to A place your not used to until your face gets slammed into a bat,
Internally bleeding with every dropp of blood that spills tells a story of who you are and the things you faced in your own home, dwelling in a town full of clones where everyone is fake and has something to tell,
Gossips spread like a wild fire burning the town to the ground, friends who turn their back when times are down just to recover and to start over again,
Stress speaks for itself but when it is all you breath in you become wary of others. We cannot walk outside at night afraid of being prey from others.
Parents say stay clear of them they are nothing but trouble a hoodlum someone up to no good, But what if its the parents who did the same when they were young another hypocrite thats in denial,
You can't change what you have once done even if you were young we all have done something wrong don't act like you haven't and run.
Words can be one of our most powerful weapons whether you use them for good or your own way to get what you want or hide what you have done. Persuasion is an excuse to face the truth.
The devil can speak with many waters but never enough to quench your thirst. Relationships can be something new but not when its the same thing all over, constant distrust and lying hiding your feelings acting like nothing is wrong, lying straight into your eyes, To know you were lied to without speaking about it makes the other person continue to do the things they do, even if you confront most of them will blame you sometimes its your fault sometimes its not it's the way you handle it that describes you.
