Truth's Lie Poem by Briana Johnson

Truth's Lie

I used to believe
in fairy tales.
I used to believe
those lies.
I believed
in true loves first kiss
But true loves
beauty dies

Did Cinderella
really live happlily
ever after.
Or was that a lie
decieved by childrens'
laughter

I'm sick of lies
I want to believe
I crave this deeply
But truth will decieve
