Truth Poem by GRANT FRASER

Truth

Try and wash in this
tricky stuff,

Until you wind up more
dirty than you ever were,

Cause the truth stinks of....!
and everything that goes with it,

And lies are just lesser
stains, for the mind to put up with,

For telling the God awful stinking
truth, is not what anyone should
seek to do...

This is not a way forward, nor ahead,

Not this world, or in this time,
around the Sun,

The truth will eventually come to
be seen in ever slow... slow... time,

Recapitulating!

Until the mother lode explodes,

And debris is flung far into
the galaxy,

All to be settled,
so far from what we ever thought
we were or are,

And whatever human consciousness
really is, or was all about?
