Wining a spiritual battle begins with love
And the presence of God’s armor and sword.
At some point Christians must completely engage
As soldiers of goodness for the Lord.


According to Scripture God has provided
His protection to become victorious.
We must fight in a way that honors Him
As our purpose performs what is glorious.

Trusting Jesus has control over everything
Including the outcome of those who deceive.
Helps us resist the actions of evil
Defeating temptation by how we believe.

As you rise to the dawn of each day
Do you consider God’s plans for you?
Do you make a choice to depend on Him
For the blessings of life to pursue?

To have true measure in the eyes of the Lord
You must be forgiving, loving and kind.
Believers are called to serve and defend
The teachings of God that cleanse the mind.

It’s impossible to be a disciple of Christ
And still stay in charge of your soul.
Let the wisdoms of Jesus lead the way
By giving His will complete control.
