True Power Poem by Randy McClave

True Power

Some say that power resides
In the man who controls the tides,
He will not runaway and/ or cower
He is the man with all the power.

Some say that power always switches
To the man who has the riches,
He that lives in a ivory tower
Is said to be the man with the real power.

Some say that power in the fabric is sewn
Unto the politician this is well known,
And then on that 13th hour
He is the man with that true power.

Some say that power stays
To the man that always and steadfastly prays,
Only unto God is he a bower
He is said to be the man with ungodly power.

For power all men desire and they will fight
They will take, or die for what's in their sight,
So, I say that true power ultimately rests
Upon the woman who bares her breasts.
