True Lover Poem by Amitava Sur

True Lover

Rating: 5.0

A true lover lives, only with love
The love which begets a heaven on this earth.
So much so priceless is this real love indeed,
It can never be erased with so ease.

For a lover who loves with shear truth
“To live or die” is just not the prime object.
True love is a cemented deal
It stays for good, once it’s made.

So intoxicating and vulnerable is this true love
You just can not live or think without it,
You simply live in a syndrome of love,
Quite similar to that of a drug addict.

True lover can die silently alone …
The aura of love is so divine and profound.

Lovers may die or may not remain
But true love never dies at all.
A true lover lives only with love
The love which begets a heaven on this earth.

True love stays for good once you find it in life. It is forever no matter the situation and takes you to heaven while still being on earth. A divine gift for sure. Love this poem, Amitava. RoseAnn

I loved this beautiful poem about true love. Love that is real will withstand the test of time. Will not fade away only gets better. Very good and sweet.
