True Love Poem by Mariam Nafiu

True Love

Rating: 5.0

If loving you is a sin then im a sinner
You're stuck in my head
You're like my best friend
You're stick with me through my bad and worse
That's what I call true love

You hugged me as if you'll never see me again.
You hold me as if it's the last time you'll see me
You showed me what true love is because for every moment you were not with me I feel crushed.
That's what I call true love

I can't survive a day without you
I never knew what love really is until the day you left me and i couldn't help it but cry my eyes out
Then I know what true love is cuz I can't stop thinking bout you.

My teardrops are still wet and still dripping
Your presence is the only thing that could dry it up
What can I do to be in your arms again?

You not being with me is like a year without rain.
As i close and open my eyes i realized i was dreaming about loosing you and i'll never lose you
Cause my dream makes me realized what True love really is.
