True Bliss Poem by Jennifer Colyne Hall

True Bliss

A world of darkness

I found a key

For just one day

It opened up

and set me free

Stumbles in dark

falling into the light

I finally saw

what it must be like

Like looking through a

two way mirror

A soul who thinks that

happiness is found

I think not my friend,

you don't know true bliss

To see through another's eyes

for just one day.....

can be truly enlightening

Amazing how much you can learn from one

Like a silent television

from 1941

Time is nature's teacher

As little munchkins grow to be hellions

and teach the teacher

How to un-do the teachings

that were taught to them

Mining for gold, turning up rocks

Searching for something

that you never lost

Without ever blinkin'

or wincing a thought

Gave it all up

and that shows more
