True Beauty

So great is this beauty that I admire
Attractive is this beauty that I so desire
Searing is this beauty that sets my heart afire
Splendid is this beauty and of her gaze I will never tire.

Mighty beauty that sets my heart aflutter
Yes this beauty that makes my soul melt like butter
Real beauty so peaceful clears my mind of clutter
Endless beauty so deep its true impact I cannot utter
Legendary beauty of which I often mutter
Lasting beauty grows with age brighter
Eternal beauty forever may you glow

poet George Gordon Byron

So we'll go no more a-roving
So late into the night,
Though the heart still be as loving,
And the moon still be as bright.

For the sword outwears its sheath,
