Trippin Poem by John Masaitis

Trippin

Flying eyeballs
Favorite vans
Such A young man
Violent plans.

Burning sun
Eight ball
Candlestick
Cocaine
Razor blades,
chains and whips.

Devils fork
Pierced dreams
Fire breathing
Bowling balls
Crack pipe
In the center
of it all.

Broken eyes
Ace of spades
Rolling dice
Football star
M.V.P.
Sure was nice.

Center stage
Pencils draw
Signing names
Turn the page.

Dart board
Hanging there,
Horse shoe
In mid air,
Out of luck
Yes it's true.

Boney slim
Ranting wind
Life so grim
Records spin
Music man
stares at him.

No job
what a slob
Radio noise
Telephone ring
KNAC
Threw with you
Your an old fling.

Heart with horns
Knife with thorns
Millionaires
Love affair's
Pack of squares
No one cares.

Strikes the sand
Lightning bolt
Nickname once
Rocket-man.
