Triolet: The Mockingbird Poem by Richard St. Clair

Triolet: The Mockingbird

Today the mockingbird
Is just a memory,
Yet soon it will be heard.
Today the mockingbird
Is silent — not a word
Can coax its melody —
For today the mockingbird
Is just a memory.
