Triflin Prt.1 Poem by Donte Trezevant

Triflin Prt.1

He sits on his bed
Waiting
Watching out for his entourage
As his radio signals fled
And he’s lying
Plays dead
Like a belly unfed
His pain pushes up to his eyes
Forcing them to leak
His tolerance reached its peak
He knew she was a creep
But
She promised to give herself to him
He knew their future was dim
But it was her that was in sin
That night when his radio died
As he laid there and cried
She moaned and cried
An exhale of relief
It was all that brief
This pleasure she urgently gained
Caused her man pain
Because he didn’t know
The strength he showed
In the woman he loved
Was the one that caused
Her satisfaction
She gained in vein
With fear in his heart
And anger in his brain
He searched her address book
Name by name
Saw a man he never heard of
And his number he didn’t recognize
So his frustration grows in size
So the gas peddle he pressed
And he fallowed the address……
…………..to be continued
