Trial Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

Trial

Chanting her name
I get up from bed
Walk down the stairs
Feeling a little sad

For she has promised
To come at dawn
And give me a kiss
Before rising of the sun

I will be too happy
Taking her in my arm
To save her from cold
And keep her warm

But I do not see her
Tears roll down my eyes
Fall on bed as a log
And as a child I do cry
