Trees Talk To Me Poem by Dr Shamim ali

Trees Talk To Me

Trees talk to me
Hours and hours I talk to my trees
Sometimes at dawn, sometimes at dusk
Neither they brush me off nor they rebuff
They just dropp a leaf to show agreement if I ask
Follow it with my eyes, as it falls in my lap
It makes me to realize their attentiveness
With all the words I speak
They console me if I am upset
With rattling sounds of boughs
They negotiate with me
My all thoughts and words they keep in their heart
Sometimes I find my words hang with their branches
During conversation they don’t dropp any leave
All the time they console me to leave all worries behind
Always advice me to make new beginnings
Like the tree, that grows new leaves
