Tree Swallow, A Poem by Ben Partenay

Tree Swallow, A

twig snaps
little twist
and water
cacophony
a bird on
a wire, little
glint of
belly white
diving mad
at the
turquoise

very little
happen stance
of pilgrims
jettison of
sins and
clouds and
all the sun
gods finding
their
believers.
