Tree Of Life Poem by Veronica T. C.

Tree Of Life

I'm strong like a tree that grows in the ground,
That grows bigger and bigger every day,
Stronger and stronger as time passes,
Watching my leaves sore through the sky,
With the summer breeze,
The months go on,
Autumn comes around,
Watching my leaves change,
Colors to colors so beautiful,
So bright and vibrant,
They soon fall off,
I am naked,
With no leaves on my branches.
But not empty,
Because there are little animals living inside me sleeping until spring.
They depend of me to get through this chilling winter,
With the weather so cold I stand strong.
For the months to come,
Spring is just around the corner,
I feel stronger,
My leaves come back.
Standing strong so full of life
Feeling great.
