Tree And I Poem by Tirupathi Chandrupatla

Tree And I

Tree in winter I see
A simple graphic sketch
On the canvas of sky
A skeleton of branches.

I vividly think of spring
And summer that follows
Tree as fully clad
In a thick leafy costume.

I'm not a tree, I'm
Dressed thin in summer
Thick wool coat and tie
In winter I'm bulky.

The contrast between man and tree in spring and summer is pleasantly summarised in this cute poem! Enjoyed!
